Handicapped Parking
There is one handicapped parking spot right near the tree and near the port-a-john. There is also an entire row of regular parking spots right behind the tree that are very close to the tree. Excellent for viewing from your vehicle about 25 feet from the tree itself.

Lobster Trap Tree Lighting
Saturday, November 22, 2025 ~ 4:30 PM
The 4th annual Stonington Trap Tree lighting will be a visual spectacle! This magical tree features beautiful hand painted buoys of more than 125 professional artists and 40 local families. The tree has thousands of colorful lights and a 5 foot tall anchor that rotates colors as well. Step inside to view the landmark from the inside and you’ll get incredible photos. Free admission

20 spots per session - Stonington Residents ONLY - 1 Buoy per Family
Children must be grades 1-12 to participate, this will be verified.
